Emerge Studio attaches great importance to the protection of your personal data. This policy explains what data we process, why, and what your rights are, in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP) and, where applicable, the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

The data we process
- Data you send us: name, email address, company, telephone and the content of your message, when you write to us or book an appointment.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, date and time of the visit. They are collected automatically by our host and, with your consent, by our audience measurement tool.

- To answer your requests and prepare an offer.
- To carry out the work entrusted to us.
- To measure and improve the site, with your consent.
- To comply with our legal obligations.
Legal bases
Where the GDPR applies, our processing is based on your consent, on the performance of pre-contractual measures or of a contract, on our legitimate interest in answering the requests received, or on a legal obligation.
Who receives your data
Your data is neither sold nor rented. It may be passed on to our technical service providers, solely for the purposes described here:

We also track the site’s presence in search results with Google Search Console. This tool shows us aggregated search statistics: it collects no data about your visit and sets no cookies.
Transfer abroad
Some service providers may be located outside Switzerland. In that case, we ensure that an adequate level of protection is guaranteed, in particular through standard contractual clauses.
With your consent, audience measurement data is processed by Google in Ireland and the United States. Google LLC is certified under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which Switzerland has recognised as ensuring an adequate level of protection since 15 September 2024.
Retention period
We keep your data for as long as necessary for the purposes described, then for the period required by law, in particular ten years for accounting documents, as provided by the Swiss Code of Obligations.
Your rights
You can at any time request access to your data, its rectification or erasure, object to its processing, request its portability or withdraw your consent.

Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data: encrypted connection (HTTPS), restricted access and regular backups.
